The context menu is called by right-clicking if the field of object type is selected, it contains a set of important operations for working with an object.
The command Open Object works similarly to the sign in the right part of the field: a server application is called if there is some object, if there is none, a dialog box “Insert object” is opened.
The command Insert Object causes display of the dialog box “Insert object” in any case which allows replacing of one inserted object by another one.
The command Remove Object removes the object linked with the given field and the description of object is not changed.
The command Information gives information about the object, the information may be different for different link types. Examples of dialog boxes with information about objects are presented at figure 25-3, a, b, c.

a) Information about embedded object

b) Information about linked object, absolute path
c) Information about linked object, relative path

In any case the type of object, its description, link type and size are provided. For an object linked with the file an absolute path to the file and the date/time of last change are also indicated, and if the link is set by a relative path, this path is also given.
The command Standard Description enters string description of object type as description of the object itself, for example, “Microsoft Excel sheet”, “Microsoft Word document”, etc.
Other commands of the context menu belong only to working with object description and do not affect the object itself at all.
