When creating copies of drafts or maps the following method is used rather often: tracing paper is put on the existing draft and a copy of an image is created on it. The same effect can be achieved if one puts the original on the glass highlighted from beneath and a copy being created on top of it. After this copying can be performed.
When creating map symbol in ObjectLand a similar method can be used. One should perform the command Style+Blueprint.
At this command a dialog box “Selecting style for blueprint” will be opened (figure 79-3), after selecting the blueprint style and closing the dialog box graphic image of selected blueprint will appear in the editing pane. Displaying of the blueprint can be turned off by the command View+Blueprint.
Primitives making up the blueprint image are not transferred to the editing pane.

Another possibility to create a graphic image using the existing style – take the existing image, remove unnecessary graphic primitives and add required ones. The command Style+Copy should be used for this purpose.
After performing this command a dialog box “Selecting style for copying” will be opened (figure 79-3), after selecting the style and closing the dialog box a graphic image of selected style will appear in the editing pane. However, the image which probably was in the editing pane will be removed. That is, the editing pane is cleared before copying.
The command Style+Add also allows for copying of the style into the editing pane but without removing the existing image.
