This page is intended for setting parameters of the operations of copying, moving and merging GDB and its components: tables, maps and so on.
Region of copying | This pane permits specifying an area in the source map to which features to be copied should belong. By default, this area is not defined, so features will be copied regardless of its positions. After pushing the button Set up the dialog box “Copying Region” is opened. The combo box Extent of intersection for permits specifying conditions for including features into this region. One can choose from three variants:
The rough evaluation is preferable in those cases when the number of features in the copying region and close to it is very large, and at that copying some excess features does not make a problem. The region of copying is not specified for the variants of copying structure. |
Parameters of copying | In this pane parameters of the map created in the destination can be specified: base point coordinates, range and partition. The pane is active only for operations of copying a map or a layer; in other cases parameters of the destination map are used. |
User key | Checkboxes in this pane are active only when EDB layers are both source and destination of the operation. If the user checks this box then for each feature of the layer being created, data fields will be stored which can be used for setting links with tables. If the box Create is checked then the box Copy data allows specifying whether values of fields of the source layer's user key should be copied. |
Internal numbers | The user can check boxes Keep for features and Keep for records. Internal numbers of features and records are usually inaccessible for a user working with ObjectLand but they can be used by applications which have access to internal data structures of ObjectLand. By default, features and records give new internal numbers in the destination. |
Records | If the box Copy linked only is checked then when copying linked tables participating in the operation only those records which are linked with copied features will be copied. By default (if the box is not checked) all the records of the corresponding tables will be copied. |
Cancel | Cancels execution of the procedure. |
<Back | Cancels actions at the current step and returns to the previous step of the procedure. |
Next> | Fixes actions performed at the current step and proceeds to next step of the procedure. |
