The dialog box serves for specifying filter condition for filter group being created or for changing filter condition of the existing group.
Pane of simple condition list | Contains a list of rows each of which corresponds to a simple condition in filter condition. |
Simple condition | The pane of input of simple condition serves for entering and editing simple conditions making part of filter condition. |
Logical operator | Radio buttons serve for specifying the logical operator which connects simple conditions. If the filter condition consists of one simple condition, the radio button No should be checked. If the filter condition consists of several simple conditions, the radio button No should be checked for the first of them. |
Property | The pane contains a drop-down hierarchical list in which it is required to select the feature attribute being checked. Either the value from linked table or query or geometrical property – length (perimeter for area features) or area of feature as well as the current scale of displaying theme can be considered to be such an attribute. If one of the linked tables or queries is selected in the list, the pane contains a drop-down list Field. It serves for selecting a name of field of table or query the value of which is used for specifying simple condition The branch of hierarchical list named Geometry permits selecting one of the following spatial properties: Area – the value of area of an image or area feature (in square map units); Length – the value of length of line feature or length of all boundaries of area or image feature (in map units); Scale – the current scale value of displaying theme. The specified scale value is understood as “number after a colon”, that is, for example, the value 100 denotes the scale 1:100 (100 map units per 1 centimeter of the screen), and the relation “Scale > 100” will be true for scales 1:200, 1:1000 and so on. |
Relation | The drop-down list Relation serves for specifying the relation in simple condition. The list of admissible relations offered when this item is selected depends on the type of selected table field or spatial property. The drop-down list Variant is used for choosing the variant of relation in case of a multiple link of feature type with linked table. A list of admissible variants depends on the type of selected table field and selected relation. |
Operand | The presence of input fields 1st operand and 2nd operand depends on the relation specified for simple condition being entered. |
Display of values from reference tables | This checkbox is of some importance in the case when the query field for which a reference table is set is used in the simple condition. If the box is checked, values of relation operands are also taken from the corresponding reference table. When the box is cleared, values of the same type as the one of table field is used without taking into account the reference table. |
Add | The button serves for adding simple condition specified in the pane of input of simple condition to filter condition. |
Change | When pushing this button the simple condition specified in simple condition pane will replace the row with simple condition selected in the list. |
Remove | Permits removing the simple condition selected in the list. |
Clean | Performs cleaning of the contents of simple condition list, that is, removes all simple conditions. |
OK | Saves made changes of filter condition for group and closes the dialog box. |
Cancel | Cancels actions performed in the dialog box and closes it. |
