This window serves for browsing and editing a table or a query linked at least with one feature type of the browsed theme. The structure of the window as well as main operations performed in it are similar to table browser window (see “Table browser window”).
The browser of linked table has the following distinguishing features:
When the window is opened the records linked with selected features of the map browser window will be selected.
Apart from other menus this window contains the menu Theme which includes commands allowing the user to work with links between map features and table records. Some commands of this menu are duplicated by toolbar buttons.
The menu command Query+Open permits to open only those cataloged queries which are based on this table or for which this table is a root table of the join. For EDB queries based on direct specifying of SQL statement SELECT the command Query+Open is disabled.
Browser window of linked table itself is linked with the map browser window. It means that in case of closing the map browser window, table browser windows linked with it will be automatically closed.
