Layer and Type

Shows the layer and type to which the feature being edited belongs. When adding a new feature these values should be selected in the list, when editing the existing feature its layer and type are not changed.

List of vertices

Contains a list of polyline vertices forming a line feature. At the end of the list there is always an additional empty row used for input of a new vertex.

The following buttons are connected with it:

Reverse – causes changing of order of vertices in the list to reverse one (the first vertex becomes the last and vice versa).

Circle – permits automatic building coordinates of a set of points which approximately form an open circle and entering them in the list of vertices. A dialog box “Building circle” is opened.

Edit – reads coordinates of the vertex selected in the list to fields of the editing pane.

Add – adds an additional vertex to the list. The new vertex is placed before selected one and its coordinates are read from fields of the editing pane.

Change – changes coordinate values of selected vertex, reads new values of coordinates from fields of the editing pane.

Remove – removes the vertex selected in the list.

Pane of editing vertex coordinates

Contains fields for editing vertex coordinates. Fields X and Y contain coordinates of some point in map coordinate system. Fields Distance and Angle characterize the position of the same point relative to the point in the list, previous with respect to the one selected in the list. Values of all fields can be changed and changing any field will cause recalculation of values of remaining three fields.

Cancels actions performed in the window and closes it.
