This page of the property sheet “Properties of layer” serves for viewing the set of feature types of map layer and determining the number of features belonging to different feature types.
Layer | Name of map layer is indicated. |
Map | Map name is indicated. |
Total features | Total number of all features belonging to the present map layer is shown. |
Feature types | Number of features in each layer is indicated. Actually this pane is filled in after checking the box Detail by feature types. |
Detail by feature types | Checking this box causes calculation of number of features of each type and its display in the pane Feature types. The checkbox itself disappears. Calculation of data about feature types can be a rather time-consuming operation. |
