This page of the property sheet “Properties of layer” serves for setting displaying style of features belonging to the map layer. The page consists of six subpages permitting the user to specify styles for displaying map symbols of point features, lines (including line features and boundaries of area features), fillings and hatches of internal region of area features, font for text features and also image features.
For map symbols, lines, fillings, hatches and font any styles from shared or current library can be chosen. For the font the color is chosen separately as well. Regarding image features specifying a style plays some role only for monochrome rasters, it permits choosing the foreground color, background color, setting attributes of inversion and transparency.
Use inherited style | When this radio button is checked inherited displaying style is used. For map layer default system styles are inherited styles. |
From GDB library | Permits selecting any style from current GDB library as displaying style of features of the present map layer. |
From shared library | Allows selecting any style from the shared library as a style for displaying features of the present map layer. |
Style list | Serves for selecting the style from the corresponding library. |
Sample | Demonstrates the sample of style chosen in the list. |
