Dialog box “Pasting features”

Purpose

Serves for setting the operation of pasting map features from clipboard.

Panes

Correspondence of layers and feature types

Serves for selecting a layer and feature type of the destination map for every type of features pasted from the buffer.

The column “Layer/feature type in source” contains types of all features present in the clipboard. In the column “Layer/feature type in destination” the corresponding feature types in destination map should be specified. By default the system offers to use in the destination the same types to which features in buffer belong (if these feature types are present in the destination theme).

To change feature type the user should select the corresponding line in the list of types and call the context menu which is displayed by the system in the form of lists of layers and feature types of the destination theme which spatial category is the same as the one of selected type in buffer.

Shift

Allows specifying shift of coordinates X and Y of features being pasted in coordinate system of destination map with respect to source coordinates of these features in coordinate system of the source map.

Buttons

OK

Performs pasting of features and closes the dialog box.

The button is enabled in the case if feature type in destination map is specified for every feature type of the source.

Cancel

Cancels pasting of features and closes the dialog box.
