This page of the property sheet serves for viewing existing links of theme layer feature type with GDB tables as well as with tables and queries of EDB, for setting links and breaking them.
Setting a link between theme layer feature type and table (linking a table) is possible if this table was linked with the corresponding feature type of map layer in advance. Breaking the link between theme layer feature type and the table does not cause breaking of the link between map layer feature type and this table.
Pane of scheme of links | The scheme of links displays all set links of the present feature type with internal GDB tables and with tables and queries of all available EDBs, including those which are closed at the moment. For each link with internal GDB table the link mode is indicated: (unique link) or (multiple link). Each EDB with tables and queries of which there is a link is displayed as a separate branch of the tree of the scheme of links. A direct link with EDB table or query is displayed by a sign of a single arrow An indirect link is displayed by a sign of a double arrow If the feature type is linked with table or query of EDB which is closed at the moment, a red crossed out circle is added to the sign near the name of the table/query: |
Create | Creates a new link of the present feature type of theme with one of internal tables of GDB which are not linked with the present theme feature type but are linked with the map layer with the same name. A dialog box “Select tables” is opened. |
Change | The button is always disabled, since there is no possibility to change the link mode for the theme compared to the one specified for the map. |
Remove | Breaks the link between the present feature type and internal GDB table selected in the scheme of links. The link between map feature type with the same name and this table is retained. |
