These modes give a possibility to change displaying scale and at the same time shift displayed fragment if necessary. The cursor takes the form of a magnifier in these modes:
or
. There are two variants of using zooming modes:
“A click in the point”. If you place the cursor in a point within the displaying pane and click the left button, the system will redraw the displaying pane, the scale will be increased or decreased, and the point in which the cursor was will be moved to the center of the pane. Zooming factor can be changed using the property sheet “Properties of theme”, page “Parameters”. By default this factor is equal to two.
“Selection of a rectangle”. To zoom in some rectangular fragment of displayed region to the size of the whole pane one should push the left mouse button in one corner of this fragment and release it in the opposite one. The system will track that the form of selected rectangle was similar to displaying pane (that is, had the same ratio of width to height). After releasing the button the pane will be redrawn and selected rectangular fragment will occupy all its area. The center of the rectangle will become the center of the pane.
To zoom out the fragment the user indicates some rectangular fragment in displaying pane by analogy. The center of this fragment will be in the center after redrawing the pane.
