Mode Select by buffer zone of polyline

Purpose and description

This mode permits selecting all features for which the distance to the specified polyline does not exceed the set value called buffer zone width. The system opens an auxiliary window “Selection polyline”.

To specify selection polyline it is necessary to move the cursor by polyline vertices clicking on every vertex. It is possible to undo incorrect creation of a vertex by performing the command Rollback from the context menu. Building a polyline is completed after a double click in the last vertex.

Buffer zone width is determined on page “Parameters” of the property sheet of the browsed theme.

To determine selected features the set selection threshold is used.

Additional possibilities of performing selection and deselection of features are connected with using the keys Ctrl, Alt, Shift.
