This mode permits selecting all features intersecting the feature (that is, having common points with this feature) on which mouse clicking is performed. The clicked feature itself is not selected.
If the click is performed on an area, text or image feature, the set selection threshold is used to determine selected features.
Additional possibilities of performing selection and deselection of features are connected with using the keys Ctrl, Alt, Shift.
