
This window serves for browsing and editing a map or a theme.
The title contains either a name of the browsed theme or indication <No name> and a name of browsed map.
The pane contains features which are in the current displayed fragment.
The menu bar is located in the upper part of the window and contains main groups of operations which can be performed in map browser window.
This is the toolbar located under the menu bar. It contains graphic buttons causing execution of most frequently used commands.
This is the toolbar located in the left part of the window. It differs from standard toolbar in the fact that pushing the button does not cause immediate execution of some operation, but setting one of the possible modes of using a mouse. The mode determines which actions can be performed in displaying pane using a mouse. Every mode is characterized by its own form of cursor.
It is located under standard toolbar. It contains data about selected features.
It is located in the lower part of the window. It contains the current coordinates of the cursor in displaying pane, slope angle of display and its scale. Cursor coordinates are indicated in map coordinate system, the scale – in map units per “logical centimeter” of the screen. In the right part of the status bar a name of the current mode is displayed.
Permits replacing the browsed map or theme by any cataloged theme of the same map but with the current displayed fragment. | |
Allows saving the browsed cataloged theme taking into account the changes made in the course of browsing. If the theme is not cataloged, the command is equivalent to the command Save As. | |
