The page “Sorting” permits viewing and changing the condition of sorting records of EDB query and disabling or enabling display of identical (duplicated) records in a query.
Sorting conditions | The list Fields of query contains names of all fields of EDB query. The fields taking part in the sorting condition are marked by a sign of an arrow. The arrow directed upwards denotes ascending order, downwards – descending order. The order of fields in the list determines priority of fields in the sorting condition. The higher position is occupied by the name of field in the list, the higher priority it has. Sorting is performed at first by the field with the highest priority, then among records with the same values of this field sorting by fields with lower priorities is performed. The group of radio buttons Order serves for indicating the method of sorting of the field selected in the list. The radio button (Undefined) denotes that the field does not participate in the sorting condition. Buttons Up and Down permit changing the position of the field in the list, that is, its priority in the sorting condition. |
Duplication of records | The checkbox Enabled permits disabling or enabling display of identical (duplicated) records in the query browser window. |
