Serves for copying a feature type of map layer.
Copying operation permits creating a copy of selected feature type in the same or in a different layer, in the same or a different map, in the current or another GDB.
The system provides a possibility to copy a feature type of map layer as a whole together with features it contains or copying only type structure. When copying the structure the new feature type will have the same spatial category, the same set of styles, etc, but will not contain any features. It is possible to include tables linked with the feature type into the operation of copying or only the structure of these tables and links (not copying records) or copy only the graphics.
After selecting the command a nested menu will be opened: Whole, Structure, Graphics and Graphics Structure – the system offers to select the variant of copying.
After the variant of copying is chosen, the procedure of copying a feature type of map layer is started. This procedure consists of several steps and it is controlled by feature type copying wizard.
In mode of shared access to GDB this command is disabled.
