The command allows getting totals by query field.
When performing the command a dialog box “Total by field” will be opened. The contents of the dialog box, that is, admissible operations on calculating totals, is determined by field type.
When the command is performed in table browser window a nested menu – By All Records or By Selected Records will appear which serves for indicating a set of records used for calculating total values, all records represented in the browser window or only selected records.
