Page cache size

This pane allows the user to specify the size of page cache (in kilobytes) which is allocated in main memory and contains fragments of files (pages) of GDB read from the disk.

If the box Keep statistics of cache hits is checked, in further calls to the property sheet “Properties of GDB” later, the pane will display the number indicating percentage of system requests to pages of GDB files which were satisfied without physical reading these pages from the disk.

Shared access

It contains two parameters determining intervals of possible waiting:

Lock timeout – waiting interval when the system attempts to set locking of data in GDB or shared library;

Timeout of request about sessions – waiting interval in request of state of sessions of shared work for displaying them in the navigation window.
