“ObjectLand settings”. Page “Misc”

Purpose

This page of the property sheet “ObjectLand settings” allows turning off display of some dialog boxes and also choosing transformation variant used in outputting graphic data in metafile and changing the mode of performing GDB reorganization.

Panes

Do you want to show these dialogs?

This pane contains two checkboxes which allow turning on or turning off display of two dialog boxes:

Warning about unconsolidated GDB on close – turns on or turns off display of the dialog box with a warning about unconsolidated GDB. This dialog box is displayed when closing GDB, if the change file contains changes not transferred to main files of GDB.

Confirmation of GDB open mode – turns on or turns off display of the dialog box “Setting GDB open mode” which is displayed when starting ObjectLand via selected GDB file or GDB shortcut.

Drawing to enhanced metafile (EMF)

This pane contains a list of two possible modes of forming a metafile:

Standard format – a metafile which uses all possibilities of EMF format is formed;

Adaptation for loading into CorelDRAW 7 – a metafile is formed in such a way that it was processed by CorelDRAW program correctly.

The checkbox Texts as curves permits setting the mode in which the metafile will not contain texts, but all text inscriptions will be transformed into sets of curves displaying text characters.

Reorganization

This pane contains the checkbox Keep internal numbers. If this box is cleared, in GDB reorganization all features and records will be numbered anew. It may cause errors in the work of applications using internal numbers for access to map features and table records.
