Wizard page “Setting components” of import from MIF and SHP files

Purpose

The page is intended for setting import of features of different spatial categories from MIF or SHP file.

Pane of spatial categories

The pane contains a list of spatial categories of import file. A checkbox to the left of the spatial category name is a sign of enabling import of features of the corresponding category. For SHP file this list consists of the only spatial category.

The caption of the pane contains column names:

Spatial category

Spatial category of features in import file. A checkbox to the left of the spatial category's name is a sign enabling import of features of the corresponding category;

Layer
Feature type

A name of the map layer and a name of the feature type in the layer to which features of the corresponding spatial category will be imported from import file. If the sign of enabling import is set for the spatial category in the file, a layer and feature type of the map should be necessarily specified for it.

Table

Name of the table to which table data linked with features from import file will be imported.

Context menu of the pane of categories

Context menu of the pane of spatial categories permits specifying processing method of features selected in the pane of list of categories.

Import

Do not Import

Allow the user to indicate if features of selected spatial category should be loaded to ObjectLand map or not.

The same action can be performed switching the checkbox located to the left of the name of feature type.

A dialog box “Setting import of feature type” is opened. It serves for changing import parameters (layer in ObjectLand map and feature type in layer and a table) for selected features of selected spatial category in import file.
