Sewing wizard page “Set sewing region and rollback”

Purpose

This step is intended for specifying sewing parameters and specifying a name for rollback file when performing the operation of sewing a map or its component.

Pane “Sewing region”

Fields Start X, Y and End X, Y serve for specifying coordinates of the segment which is an axis of the rectangle specifying sewing region.

The field Width is used for specifying width of sewing region. Width of region is specified in map units.

When entering coordinates one should keep in mind which system of coordinates is specified in ObjectLand settings. Only vertical and horizontal sewing regions are admissible. It means that the corresponding coordinates of start and end of sewing region with the same name should be equal. It can be obtained using the radio buttons Horizontal orientation and Vertical Orientation.

The value of coordinate determining sewing direction should be necessarily specified.

Values of coordinates determining sewing length should not necessarily be specified. If both coordinate values (of the start and end) are not specified, the system will substitute coordinate values corresponding to real map boundaries, that is, coordinates of the map part within which features are actually located. If only one of these coordinates is not specified, the system will substitute the second coordinate value corresponding to the real map boundary in the given direction.

Pane “Rollback”

If the box Create rollback file is checked, the pane permits specifying a name of rollback settings file. To enter file name the button Browse should be pushed. A dialog box of saving a file will appear.
