Raster sample

Serves for displaying raster image.

Load from file

Opens a dialog box for selecting a BMP file containing raster image.

Display parameters

Serves for setting displaying parameters of monochrome rasters.

Foreground color – permits selecting color of display corresponding to the foreground color of monochrome raster.

Background color – allows choosing color of display corresponding to the background color of monochrome raster.

Inversion – the checkbox setting inversion of colors (foreground is displayed by background color and vice versa).

Transparency – the checkbox setting transparency of background of monochrome raster.

The contents of the pane Display parameters in no way affects display of multi-colored rasters.

Border

The checkbox allowing the user to indicate if the border line around the raster element of the layout should be displayed or not.

Border style

Opens a dialog box “Border style” permitting the user to select the line style for displaying border of raster element of the layout.

Fix proportions

If this box is checked, the ratio of height of the raster element to its width will be the same as it was in BMP file not depending on changing sizes of raster element. If this box is cleared, width and height of the element can be changed independently which leads to distortion of display proportions.

Compression parameters

Allows controlling compression for storing raster data.

Use compression – the checkbox which permits the user to set whether raster should be stored in compressed form or not.

Calculate compression ratio – the button pushing which the system calculates percentage of reducing the volume of raster data when compression is used.

OK

Confirms changes of parameters of layout element and closes the dialog box.

Cancel

Cancels made changes and closes the dialog box.
