Permits adding a new element to the layout – a rectangle.
The cursor takes the form of a cross: 
. The user can specify the place in the editing pane where the rectangle should be placed and its size. For this purpose one should press the left mouse button in one of the corners of the rectangle and release it in the opposite corner.
Created rectangle becomes active element of the layout. The user can specify rectangle style using the command Element+Properties.
