Mode Symbol

The cursor takes the form of a cross: . The user can specify a square in the editing pane inside which the map symbol should be placed. To do this it is necessary to press the mouse button in the point where the center of the map symbol should be located, stretch the square to the necessary size and then release the button.

After building the square the system opens a dialog box “Adding symbol” which permits selecting the map symbol from the shared library or GDB library, specifying the height of the bounding box and for vectorial symbols – the slope angle as well.
