Mode Table

Purpose and description

Permits adding to a layout a new element – a table.

The cursor takes the form of a cross: . The user can indicate a place in the editing pane where the table should be placed and its sizes. For this purpose it is required to press the left mouse button in one corner of the rectangle inside of which the table will be contained and release the button in the opposite corner of this rectangle.

When the size of the rectangle is increased, the system divides it by a dotted grid into cells of the same size, thus determining the initial number of rows and columns of the table.

After building the rectangle the system opens a dialog box “Adding table” which allows the user to change the number of rows and columns of the table and also determine the link between the table being created and one of cataloged GDB queries. If the user refuses to specify properties (for example, pushes the button Cancel), adding of table is canceled.

Created table becomes active element of the layout.
