Mode Theme

Purpose and description

Allows adding a new element to the layout – display of a cataloged theme from the current GDB.

The cursor takes the form of a cross: . The user can indicate the place in the editing pane where the theme should be located and sizes of its display. To do this it is necessary to press the mouse button in one of the corners of the rectangle inside which the theme will be located and release the button in the opposite corner of this rectangle. In fact, only height of the rectangle and position of its left side are important since width will be determined automatically basing on proportions of the cataloged theme.

After building the rectangle the system opens a dialog box “Adding theme” which permits selecting a cataloged theme for display and specifying displaying parameters. If the user refuses to specify theme properties (for example, pushes the button Cancel) adding of a theme is canceled.

Created theme becomes active layout element.
