User permissions can be set with respect to GDB as a whole, to all maps, themes, tables and queries of GDB, and also with respect to particular maps, themes, tables and queries. Revoking permissions of a more general scope does not give a possibility to grant a similar right on a more concrete level. Permissions of the current user to GDB components are indicated in the properties of the corresponding components. Some important operations with GDB are accessible only for the administrator of this GDB.
