Like other GDB components every user has a set of properties. To view or change these properties one should select the user in the list and perform the command Edit+Properties (or use the toolbar button 
). A property sheet “Properties of user” shown at figure 85-1 will be opened.

On page “General” the name of selected user is indicated and also if he is administrator of the current GDB and/or the current user. The data on this page can be viewed only, changing this data should be performed by other means outside the property sheet.
All the rest pages of the property sheet permit viewing and changing user's permissions grouped in five categories: permissions to GDB as a whole, permissions to maps, themes, tables and queries. All these permissions will be described in detail in chapter 87 “Permissions to GDB and its components”.
In mode of shared access to GDB changing user permissions is disabled.
