Operations of copying GDB components (in the broad sense) comprise copying itself and also moving and merging operations. In any case two components participate in the operation – source and destination. When copying composite elements not only the source component itself and its constituent parts participate in the operation but also other GDB components linked with the component being copied. To perform the operation of copying the user should select the source and destination, the variant of copying operation, and also perform setting of operation parameters including methods of solving conflicts related to coincidence of names of components.
