When merging GDB, components of source GDB are copied to destination GDB or merged with analogous components of destination GDB. If components are merged, they should have compatible structure. Unlike operations of copying described in previous chapters of this section, all components of source GDB (maps, types, tables, queries, GDB library styles, layouts, users) take part in the operation of merging GDB not depending on their interconnections.
