When performing the operation of copying a style, a new style which is a copy of the source style is created in the destination library.
The operation of moving a style consists of two stages: copying the source style to the destination library and removing the source style from the source library. Removing of the style causes substitution of this style in maps and themes using it in accordance with rules of style inheritance.
It is impossible to save settings in the settings file for the operations of copying styles.
Copying a style within one library, as well as between different libraries is possible. In the operation of copying the current or shared library can be both the destination and the source.
