A cataloged theme is a variant of map display stored in the theme list of the present GDB. Creating a cataloged theme may be performed in the course of map browsing (as saving the current display variant with its displaying fragment, structure of displayed components, their styles, etc.) or without map browsing by adding a new theme to the tree of GDB components and setting characteristics of the added theme.
