Every map has a set of different characteristics (properties) access to which can be achieved through a property sheet “Map properties”. The number of features in map components, parameters of map domain and also user permissions to the map belong to map properties.
Map components (its layers and feature types) also have sets of properties such as: the number of features in the present component, feature displaying styles and a parameter of area partition (for map layer), and for a feature type – a list of linked tables.
