If in the pane of the navigation window any map layer is selected, the menu command Edit+Order becomes enabled. When using this command a dialog box “Order of layers in map” is opened (figure 9-11).

The pane of this window contains a list of layers in the order of their displaying. The first in the list is the lowest layer, that is, the layer which is displayed first. Having selected any layer in the list, one can change its position in relation to other layers using the buttons Up and Down. It should be taken into account that Up in this case means “Up the list”, which is equal to “Down the order of displaying”.
