Saving the browsed theme

The command Theme+Save as from the menu of theme browsing window allows specifying a name with which the saved theme will be included into the list of GDB themes (see figure 14-1). If the box Saving with fixation is checked the current displayed fragment and the window size are also saved.

The command Theme+Save differs only in the respect that it doesn't demand the theme name if it was specified before.

The list of cataloged themes of the current GDB is contained in GDB tree structure under the general heading “Themes”

If the name of the saved theme is selected from the list and the command Edit+Open is performed (or the toolbar button is pushed) a map browser window of the same size and the same contents as it was during the operation of saving will be opened.

It should be kept in mind that it is the map displaying variant that is saved and the operation of copying map features is not performed. So, a conclusion can be made that if after saving the theme map editing took place (that is, some features were removed, new ones were added or the current ones changed), when opening the theme that was saved before, the changes of map features will be reflected in display.
