Any browsed theme, as well as a cataloged one, has a set of properties access to which is achieved through the theme property sheet. The following parameters belong to theme properties: coordinates of displayed fragment, a set of parameters affecting theme display and feature selection, user permissions to the theme, the rule of coordinate transformation on displaying the theme and also a list of scale zones.
Theme components (its layers and feature types) also have their sets of properties, such as feature displaying styles, selection indication (a flag which shows that features of the present component can be selected), and for feature types – also a list of linked tables.
