If a cataloged theme or theme component (layer, feature type) is selected in the navigation window, after performing the menu command Tools+Dependencies a nested menu containing only one item – Tables and Queries is opened. When selecting this item a dialog box with a list of GDB tables and also tables and queries of external databases linked with one of the feature types of the selected theme or component is opened (see chapter 32 “Links between maps and tables”).
After pushing the button Open a browser window for the table or query selected from the list will be opened.
Work layers and feature types in work layers cannot be linked with tables, so when such a layer or type is selected the menu command Tools+Dependencies is inactive.
