ObjectLand does not provide such operations for EDB tables as their copying, moving or merging. When these complex manipulations with data are needed, they can be performed by means of the data source server program. Nevertheless, the operation of duplicating structure of an EDB table can be performed in ObjectLand. Copying structure, similar to changing structure, is possible only for tables of the data source but not for views.
The menu command Edit+Duplicate structure starts the EDB table adding wizard described in the subsection “Adding EDB table as a base table in data source”. However in the given case on all pages of the wizard, instead of empty values of parameters, their values in the duplicated table will be set by default. If the user wants to get a new table having just the same structure, it is enough for him to enter the table name and to pass through all the wizard's steps without making any changes. On the other hand, he can modify the structure of the table being added if necessary.
