At every step of EDB adding wizard the user can switch to the final stage of addition by pushing the button Add, if the named data source or ODBC driver has been selected already. All parameters which were not specified by the user take default values.
Completion of EDB addition is performed using ODBC tools. It is possible that additional dialog boxes may appear using which ODBC driver requests the data necessary for connection with the data source. For a particular data source different data is requested.
After the EDB is added, it remains opened but not saved in GDB.
