As it was said in chapter 32 “Links between maps and tables”, ObjectLand permits setting a unique or a multiple link mode for linking features with internal tables of GDB. As opposed to this, the link mode for tables and queries of EDB does not determine limitations on the number of records which can be linked with map feature. The link mode in this case determines the method using which the link is set. Uniqueness of link for tables and queries of EDB is determined by the user outside ObjectLand by specifying unique fields (primary keys) in EDB tables.
For tables and queries of EDB GIS ObjectLand provides the possibility to choose one of the two link modes:
direct link;
indirect link.
