At figure 17-12 a dialog box of adding a text feature is shown.

After selecting the layer and type of the feature it is required to enter the following text parameters:
Coordinates – indicate the position of the top left corner of the text bounding box.
Character height – is specified in map units.
Slope angle – text slope angle from the horizontal axis of the map coordinate system.
Text – displayed text. It can be made of several lines. When the text is entered passing to a new line is performed by pressing the keys <Ctrl+Enter>.
Pushing the button OK completes the operation of adding a text feature.
