Changing text features in interactive mode

For text features the possibilities of interactive editing are limited by moving a feature, changing its sizes and slope angle. For changing the text the mode of coordinate editing should be used.

To change the position and sizes of a text feature it is necessary to switch over to the mode Edit and select the feature. It can be done only in the case if the submode Editing vertices is turned off. Editing a text feature is mainly analogous to editing an area feature: it is possible to drag the feature to a new position, change the sizes by moving the corresponding handles, rotate the feature around the specified rotation center using the submode Rotating feature. Unlike area features, text features always have the form of a rectangle, and the ratio between the rectangle height and its width cannot be changed arbitrarily, it is determined automatically on the basis of the number of lines of the text, maximum line length and selected font.
