Changing parameters of point features

Apart from a pair of coordinates and selected symbol, every point feature is determined by three other parameters: size, zoom threshold and slope of the map symbol.

There is a possibility to specify values of all or some parameters simultaneously for the whole group of point features.

When performing the menu command Tools+Parameters of Point Features a wizard of changing parameters of point features is started. The first page of this wizard is shown at figure 19-6.

Similarly to changing text features, described above, on the first step the user selects which point features in particular should participate in the operation: all selected features or all the features of some definite types.

On the second step it is necessary to select which of three parameters (size, zoom threshold, slope angle) should change its value and specify a new value for parameters being changed as shown at figure 19-7.

As for text features, it is possible to specify, instead of new parameter values, its increments checking the corresponding boxes relative to current values. In the case of negative increments the system sets the size of each feature not less than 0.1 of map unit and zoom threshold – not less than 1.

The third step of wizard work is connected with selecting the rollback file. On the fourth step the user views the settings and confirms the operation execution. The corresponding wizard pages are analogous to wizard pages of changing text feature parameters described above.
