To get access to filter groups of some type of features of a cataloged theme it is required to select this type in the hierarchic pane of the navigation window (see figure 37-1).
Figure 37-1. Navigation window, filter structure
Themes for which a filter is set at least by one feature type are marked by signs with a red “tick” in the navigation window. The corresponding layers and feature types are marked in the same way.
All filter groups are enumerated in the list pane. Standard groups “True”, “False” and “Undefined” are marked by signs
,
and
, groups for which conditions are specified – by the sign
.
The name of filter condition for the present feature type is indicated in the information bar above the list pane. If the name is not specified, names of feature type, layer and theme are given.
Even if none of the group condition is specified for the type of features, standard groups “True”, “False” and “Undefined” should by all means be present in the list pane. The user can set styles and visibility flags for these groups (flags which show that these groups should be displayed), however, they will in no way affect theme display until at least one group condition will be set.
