Chapter 35. Using spatial properties of features in filters

Spatial properties used in filters comprise area and length of a feature itself, and also characteristics of its placement in relation to features of a given layer or type, such as area and length of feature's intersection, minimum and maximum distances, number of features intersecting the tested one, included in it or including it.

Using displaying scale in filter as an additional property of the browsed theme permits changing or switching off displaying of certain groups of features depending on browsing detail required.
