This property, as the previous one, is applicable to area, text and image features, and argument features should also belong to an area, text or image type.
The value of this property is equal to the area of the inner region of the tested feature which does not belong to the argument feature.
In other words, the area out of intersection is always equal to the area of tested feature minus the area of its intersection with the argument feature.
On the figure 35-1 the area of those parts which lies outside intersections with argument features A1, A2 and A3 equals, correspondingly, 15, 14 and 18 units.
