This property combines Intersection and Inclusion properties described above. When matching the tested feature with each of argument features the Intersection Or Inclusion property is satisfied if for that pair of features either intersection or inclusion of the tested feature into the given argument feature occurs.
In other words, the Intersection Or Inclusion property expresses the fact that the tested feature is located fully or partially within an inner region of the argument feature but does not completely cover the argument.
In the case of line or point features the Intersection Or Inclusion property is equivalent to the Intersection property because inclusion is impossible in this case.
