Relations

Relation used in a simple condition defines some condition which is to be satisfied by the selected property of a feature. The set of possible relations depends on the particular property used in the simple condition.

In particular, if the property used have numerical value (as, for instance, different spatial properties do, such as area, length, distance, and also properties defined by values of numerical fields of tables linked with the feature), then comparison relations and relations of diapasons/intervals, described in the chapter 26 “Searching records in a table”, can be used.

Relations applicable to specific properties of the features used in filters will be described when considering these properties.
