Table records linked with a feature can also be used as feature properties for building simple conditions of filters. When building filter condition for a feature type one can use any table linked with this type. In this case, as a rule, some table field is specified, and the value of this field in records linked with a feature serves as the property of that feature. Besides, the very facts of presence of a record linked with the feature and of presence of a non-empty value in the specified field can also be checked in the simple condition.
Both internal GDB tables and tables/queries of external databases can be used in the filter conditions.
Unlike simple search conditions for a table, simple conditions of filter group should not necessarily use fields of one and the same table or query. Fields of any table linked with this feature type can be a part of these conditions. It is also possible to use fields of any query, including the query which uses table join, provided the root table of the query is linked with the present feature type.
