Geocoding by coordinates is applied in the case when coordinates of geocoded features are known and are located in geocoded table.
An example is geocoding of the table “New Wells” of demo GDB “N-City” in which coordinates of wells not entered yet into the map “N-City” are located.
To perform geocoding the user should select the name of the table “New wells” in the navigation window and select the menu item Tools+Geocoding. A window of geocoding wizard will be opened.
At the first step of the wizard it is necessary to select geocoding method By coordinates. At the second step the user should set geocoded point feature type. The feature type “Well” of the layer “Geocoding Examples” will be taken as an example of such a type.
It should be noted that the link with tables “New Wells” and “Well Certificates” is already set for the feature type “Well” which gives a possibility to set links of features being created with records of these tables in the course of geocoding.
